An outright and blatant fruit Satan produces in a soul is fear, anxiety, and depression. When we embrace what the world says regarding these, we are conforming to the philosophy of this world.
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Romans 12:2
To be in fear is to be in unbelief in the Lord Jesus Christ. Yet how many who profess to be believers in Christ depend on drugs and alcohol, among other things to bring them calm and peace?
How can this be so when we know the Prince of Peace; Is 9:6? Could we be honest and see that we do not yet know Him as our Peace?
These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” John 16:22.
The only way we will ever come into the Peace the Lord is and gives is when we quit looking everywhere else for it.
You will keep him in perfect peace,
Whose mind is stayed on You,
Because he trusts in You. Is 26:3
Can we drink the cup of demons and the cup of the Lord at the same time? No! 1 Cor 10:21 We will serve one or the other; Matt 6:24. We are letting our flesh and mind rule us and not the Word and Holy Spirit and unless we see this we will never know the Prince of Peace.
For some of us, we have gotten into fear so deep that we can’t see any way out. The first step is to acknowledge this first to ourselves and then to God. We are walking in unbelief and perhaps even rebellion and must turn away from these so we may turn to Jesus as not only Savior but Lord of our lives.
There is no fear in Love (1 John 4:18) and reason why we must look to Jesus who is love. The only way we will ever know this is by the supernatural work of the Holy Spirit as we submit to Him to lead us to walk in the light as He is in the light; 1 John 1:7.
It is clear that the fruit of Satan is fear in which anxiety and depression dwell and it is up to us to turn from allowing this to be true for us. We have been given divine life in Jesus Christ that we may be partakers of it and so let us find out what this means and walk in it!
Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 1 Peter 1:2-4.
Yes! Let us find out and walk in it ….His Peace that surpasses all understanding. Turn from evil and do good! Amen! 💕
