The evil one is speaking into the ears of the empty.  They say to themselves, I will do it my way, and you can’t tell me anything!  They are arrogant and full of pride, thinking themselves to be right.  They do not see how they are like puppets on a string bowing to every word that evil speaks.  They are foolish.  Their sinful hearts deceive them thinking themselves to be wise.  In this kind of heart, they cannot hear the word of the Lord, let alone receive it, for the pride that prevents them. 

The evil one fuels darkened hearts such as these, with his light so they may continue to walk in their religious lie.  He lulls them, and they think they have the peace that comes from God.  They confuse the evil stupor they have been seduced by to be the peace that passes all understanding that comes from the Prince of peace. 

They spend their ‘bible study’ looking for loopholes in what they call their faith in Christ, so they may continue in their much-loved sins.  All the while, their heart grows hard against the truth, leading them to easily deny it. 

They have nothing to do with any who are temples for the Holy Spirit, who love talking and sharing of the Lord, instead they avoid such ones, like that of the plague.  They continue watching their TV preachers and receive scratching for their itching ears and go to their intellectual bible studies while they continue to seek to be soothed, pleasured and comforted through any and all means that the world offers.  They continue to do ‘good works’ and give to those around them, so they may feel good yet know nothing of giving time to the Lord they say they believe and love, to get to know Him.  They enjoy their faith because they hear and learn by their way and terms.  They do not see how evil, crooked and dark their heart is because they walk by and through the angel of light who gives to them all they need and ask for – so they are ‘good’ and have need for nothing. For they already have a love in their life; Self – and it is enough and all they care about. They do not see how blind, naked and wretched they really are.

‘These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God: “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot.  So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.  Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked—  I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.  As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.  Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.  To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.
